Handcrafted Copper and Cholla Cactus Wood Butterfly Sculpture on an Oak base. Approximately 14-1/4" high x 12-1/2" x 6-12".
The challenge in creating this piece was to make the hummingbird appear to be in flight, hovering as it feeds upon a flower. I wasn't sure if the metal piece used to crate the beak would be strong enough to support the bird's body. I was pleased to discover that it was ridged enough.
I love to watch hummingbirds, their presence provides a feeling of peace. Whenever we spot one on our daily walk we feel like we just received a gift. $275.00
