Seraphinite and Sterling Silver Dangle Earrings. These are one of a kind (ooak) art. I personally selected these beautiful cabochons, then hand forged the metalwork to take advantage of the beauty of the stones.
Seraphinite is a trade name for a particular form of clinochlore, a member of the chlorite group. It is named after the biblical seraphs or seraphim angels. With some specimens the resemblance is quite strong, with shorter down-like feathery growths leading into longer "flight feathers".
Metaphysical: The beauty and energy of Seraphinite rises through the chakras like spirits of Light it is named for – the Seraphim, the highest order of angels who attend the throne of God. The image of their feathery wings, are captured in iridescent silver and suggests the movement of flight within a crystal of deep forest green.
