Rhodochrosite and Black Onyx Sterling silver pendant, 26.1mm x 39.7mm. This is a one of a kind (ooak) art piece. I personally hand cut the Rhodochrosite gemstone, then hand forged the metalwork to take advantage of the beauty of the stone, adding a Black Onyx oval cabochon as an accent. The back of the metal is open to allow the banding of the gemstone to show.

Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral. It is typically a rose-red color, but impure specimens can be shades of pink to pale brown. It streaks white.
